Process
Through this process I worked with a cross departmental team of clients and company staff including
- Director
- Scenic Designer
- Lighting Designer
- Technical Director
- Properties Supervisor
- Carpenters and Welders
- Painters
- Electricians
A variety of techniques were employed to execute this design. I identifed that an outside vendor could more efficiently create the decroative parts, working with SendCutSend to have the steel laser cut to allow for adhearsive to the original design within our strict construction timeline.
Through a variety of in-person and virtual meetings, the design and execution techniques were adjusted to ensure that all parties were happy with the outcome.
Lastly, I worked with our marketing department to document the process for a feature that was published to drive engagement for the production. Those results can be viewed on the Minneosta Opera’s blog post, Building Florence’s Piano
